Joint Study Poster Presentation at CBI 2026

Joint study by DLeader and the Laboratory for Computational Biology at the Institute for Protein Research, The University of Osaka (Mizuguchi Lab), was presented as a poster at the Chem-Bio Informatics Society (CBI) 2026 Annual Meeting, held October 26–29 at Tower Hall Funabori, Tokyo. The poster was titled “Predicting substrates for transporters involved in the drug transfer into breast milk.”

The study focuses on developing computational models to predict whether compounds are substrates of transporters involved in drug transfer into breast milk. Transporter-mediated secretion can influence this transfer, while limited experimental data remain a challenge for predictive assessment.

The research aims to provide computational predictions that support early investigation of drug transfer into breast milk and contribute to broader assessments of potential infant exposure during drug development.
